Twice in 2022, ICAN asked CDC why so many Americans had refused to get a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Was it because they suffered an adverse event? CDC never answered. Now, ICAN has again asked CDC, under the new administration, to investigate this troubling statistic.
As ICAN previously reported, our legal team sent letters to CDC in February and May of 2022, requesting an official explanation for a simple question: why did nearly 32 million Americans receive their first mRNA COVID-19 vaccine dose, but not their second one? Given the rate of reactions reported to VAERS and V-safe, it certainly seems plausible that the reason for this vaccine “hesitancy” is that many of them had a bad reaction to the first shot.
CDC officials ignored ICAN’s previous letters and provided no response. ICAN has now sent a third letter in hopes that the current CDC leadership will finally get to the bottom of this!
