More than 5 years after asking FDA for the data it relied upon to license the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines, Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT) has been told by FDA that the last file has reportedly been released.

Here is a playback of FDA’s delay and antics in producing these records:

In August 2021, on behalf of PHMPT, Aaron Siri and his legal team submitted a legal request to FDA to disclose all the documentation relied upon to license Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine.

Despite the fact that the licensure of Pfizer’s vaccine was expedited, FDA refused to expedite the production, compelling Siri and his team to file two lawsuits on behalf of PHMPT, one in September 2021 (for Pfizer ages 16+ data), and one in October 2022 (for Pfizer ages 12-15 and Moderna ages 18+ data). FDA first claimed it needed roughly 75 years to complete its production of the Pfizer 16+ data. Thankfully, the presiding judge in both cases, the Honorable Mark Pittman of the Northern District of Texas, called out FDA’s unreasonable delay and ordered an expedited timeline.

FDA’s antics did not stop there. In November 2023, FDA declared it had produced all of the Pfizer 16+ documents, but it soon became clear that the agency was not being transparent. In a stunning (or not so stunning) turn of events, FDA admitted that it failed to disclose almost 1 million additional pages of documentation from the vaccine’s emergency use authorization (EUA) file.

Another legal battle ensued, and in December 2024, Judge Pittman ordered FDA to produce the missing pages. A further legal victory was secured in June 2025 when Judge Pittman ordered FDA to release the EUA data for Moderna 18+ and Pfizer 12-15 as well.

Finally, as of October 1, 2026, this vital data has been disclosed (at least according to FDA) and released to the public. View it for yourself here: Pfizer 16+ and Pfizer 12-15/Moderna. Rest assured that ICAN will continue to review the data to ensure there are no more “missing” files.
